The workout isn’t what builds MUSCLE, the recovery does

You’ve crushed your workout. You’re sweaty, satisfied, and happy of having spent 1.5 hours in the gym. Most people think muscles are built during workouts. But here’s the truth: the real transformation happens after the workout, while you recover.

The squats, push-ups, and heavy weights you lifted are just the beginning. The magic of the effort put in actually kicks in during recovery, and guess who aids that- PROTEIN.

When you exercise, your muscles undergo movement and exertion, creating tiny tears in the muscle fibres. Sounds intense, but don’t worry this is normal, its supposed to happen. Those micro-tears are like little signals to your body, they’ve been working hard and want to get stronger.

This rebuilding and strengthening cannot happen solo, body needs protein to support this. Protein swoops in after your workout as its damage repair team. It fixes those tiny muscle tears, and helps build back leaner, stronger muscles.

Without enough protein, your body doesn’t have the building blocks it needs to recover properly. You’ll feel sore for longer, struggle to push harder in your workouts, and might not gain much strength despite all the effort

You don’t need to be a hardcore athlete to benefit from protein. Maybe you’re doing yoga or cycling on weekends, or even chasing toddlers around the house. Movement of any kind needs recovery fuel.

Research suggests your muscles are best receptive to protein within 30 to 60 minutes post-exercise, its called your anabolic window. So if you’re sipping on your shake after your walk or even blending it into a smoothie back home, you’re helping your body bounce back faster and stronger.

The sooner we start thinking of it protein as an essential, the better we will be able to integrate it into our routine. Refuel your body. Rebuild your strength, to make protein a non-negotiable, not just for your gains but for the daily dose of energy.

One scoop. Every day. That’s your recovery, simplified.
